Laon Medi Signs Strategic Partnership with Graphy for Next-Generation Clear Aligner System

“Delivering a New Direct-Print Clear Aligner Solution”

Laon Medi Inc. (CEO Seok-Joong Lee), the AI healthcare subsidiary of Laon People, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Graphy Inc. (CEO Woon-Seop Shim), a leading company in dental materials, to jointly develop dental software and embark on full-scale collaboration.

Through this agreement, the two companies will pursue strategic cooperation in multiple areas, including:

• Development of treatment simulation and ordering systems
• Development of design software tailored for shape-memory resin orthodontic appliances
• Joint marketing and licensing businesses targeting overseas markets

Laon Medi plans to further advance its AI-powered digital diagnostic and treatment technologies, which have drawn significant attention in the dental field. Beyond conventional thermoforming methods, the company’s strategy includes building software capable of producing clear aligners via direct 3D printing, supported by clinical data to broaden its range of applications.

As a specialist in dental materials such as shape-memory resins, Graphy will integrate Laon Medi’s AI orthodontic setup software, Laon Ortho, with its proprietary dental materials and 3D printing technologies. This synergy is expected to enhance treatment efficiency, improve the completeness of dental solutions, shorten the time required for appliance production and treatment workflows, and ultimately strengthen productivity and competitiveness.
