Model analysis is a feature that automatically sets landmarks on scan data and provides calculated analysis values.

ALD(Arch length discrepancy)

The ALD value represents the calculated difference between the required space and the available space, indicating how much space is lacking compared to the arch. ALD values are calculated for each space analysis type and provided accordingly.

Arch curve edit

If adjustments are required for the available space value, modifying the arch curve as shown below will bring about the changes. This feature is utilized when modifying the arch of the required space.

1. Click and drag the arch curve control points with the mouse to move them.
2. Confirm the updated ALD values when making changes to the arch curve.

Tooth size ratio

Bolton Analysis automatically measures the mesiodistal widths of teeth, providing the ratio of maxillary or mandibular arches by calculating the proportions of tooth size discrepancies.

Tooth size edit

The mesial and distal widths of the tooth are automatically provided and can be modified by the user if desired. Below are the steps for making adjustments.

Let’s take a look at each step.

1. When making adjustments to the maxilla, adjust the direction to be visible in the top view.
2. Click on the landmark point of the tooth that needs editing with your mouse to move it.
3. When the value is corrected, the analysis value on the right is automatically updated.

Arch width

The arch width of the arch is automatically measured, providing inter-canine, inter-premolar, and inter-molar distances. It can be edited by the user if desired, and can be modified using the following methods.

Arch width edit

1. Click on the landmarks of the arch that you want to edit with your mouse.
2. When you move the landmark to the desired location, the measurements will be updated.

Overjet / Overbite

Automatically measures four anterior overjet and overbite values, providing an average. Users can select specific teeth to check the average values.
