Laon Medi Signs Strategic Partnership with Uclear, Accelerating Entry into the U.S. and Latin American Markets

Laon Medi has entered a strategic partnership with Uclear, a U.S.-based dental distribution company, to begin the official distribution of Laon Ortho across the United States and Latin America. The partnership was formalized at the Greater New York Dental Meeting (GNYDM 2025), one of the world’s largest dental conferences.

Bringing FDA-Cleared Orthodontic Technology to the Americas

Through this agreement, Laon Medi will supply Laon Ortho, an orthodontic treatment-planning software cleared by FDA 510(k), to the broader Americas market. Uclear, headquartered in Florida, maintains a strong distribution network across the U.S., Mexico, Brazil, and major Latin American regions, enabling rapid expansion and localized support.

Uclear will fully transition its existing clear aligner design software lineup to Laon Ortho, establishing a new digital orthodontic ecosystem for clinics, labs, and manufacturers in the region.

Integrated Digital Workflow for the Next-Generation Clear Aligners

Together, the two companies will introduce a complete digital workflow—from diagnosis and treatment planning to appliance fabrication—powered by Laon Ortho. This includes a joint rollout of direct-print clear aligner systems, designed to reduce production time and modernize in-office and lab workflows.

To further enhance product capabilities, Laon Medi plans to initiate collaborative research projects with U.S. orthodontists, incorporating clinical insights into future software advancements.

Accelerating Global Expansion

Following the U.S. partnership, Laon Medi is receiving increasing interest from multiple international markets, including Japan, and is actively progressing with regulatory approvals and new partnerships worldwide.
